Step 2: Add Soil to Grow Bag

Place the grow bag on a flat surface and add potting soil to the bottom of the grow bag filling one-third of the way up. A good soil mix includes compost, perlite, and topsoil.

Step 3: Prepare Your Plant

When repotting a plant, gently massage the root ball to loosen the soil.

Step 4: Place Your Plant

Centre the root ball on top of the soil and ensure the leaves sit above the bag’s lip.

Step 5: Fill Grow Bag with Soil

Fill up the rest of the grow back with soil leaving about 5/6 of space from the lip. Gently tap and shake the bag to help the soil settle evenly.

Step 5: Spread LECA Balls on Saucer

Evenly spread the LECA balls in the saucer, using just enough to cover the surface. You don’t need to use all the LECA—adding more will reduce the frequency of watering needed.

Step 6: Set Up Grow Bag on Saucer

Place the Grow Bag on top of the LECA balls in the saucer. Position the saucer in a well-lit area with adequate sunlight for your plant’s needs. For watering tips, see 'Grow Bag Watering'
